Use non-SSA translators who charge a fee for their services only when there are no other reasonable alternatives. The purchase of a non-SSA translator is subject to regional budget resources. (See GN 00301.330D for alternative translator choices.)

Do not exceed a fee of $100 maximum per document without the approval of the Regional Office.
