GN 03313.075 Disclosure to the Selective Service System (SSS)
We provide general instructions for disclosing information from our systems of records
to other Federal agencies and officials and a link to our systems of records and their
applicable routine uses in GN 03313.001. If you receive a request from SSS, please contact your regional Privacy Act Coordinator.
The SSS is an independent government agency responsible for implementing a military
draft in the case of a national emergency. The Military Selective Service Act (50
U.S.C. App. 462) requires us to disclose certain personally identifiable information
(PII) about persons who are required to register with the SSS to enforce draft registration.
We may disclose the certain PII (first and last name, address, and date of birth)
of persons who register with the SSS.
