Claims and inquiries from individuals in Albania present unique problems because of
the time which has elapsed since payments were last made to individuals in that country.
In many cases, the claims folders are no longer available and/or the Master Beneficiary
Record (MBR) does not contain sufficient or reliable historical information. Thus,
it may be difficult to establish if an individual was entitled to benefits and/or
what benefits, if any, are/were due that individual.
