Show the rank of the FSP to which the message is being sent. Since the Department
of State's communications software requires a precise format and recognizes only two
FSP acronyms, show either “AMEMBASSY” or “AMCONSUL.” After the rank, show the city in which the FSP is located.
Show ATTN FBU or ATTN SSA DIVISION. as appropriate, so that message can be directed
to the appropriate section in the FSP or VARO in Manila.
Use single slash to separate the routing indicator from the FSP rank and city and
double slashes to surround the attention portion of the “to” line. If there is more than one FSP, repeat the routing indicator for each office
shown in this field.
Show “INFO” before the indicator for any FSP which is to receive an informational copy.
The following are examples of the proper format in this line.
