DI 43505.025 Onset Established Less Than 5 Full Months Prior to Full Retirement Age (FRA)

If a waiting period applies and the claimant alleged an onset more than 5 full months prior to full retirement age, and the FDE established an onset less than 5 full months before full retirement age, a substantive determination of onset must be made. See DI 40105.015 for SSA-831-U5 completion instructions.
