DI 43505.030 Death in the Waiting Period

In some cases, after an initial disability allowance has been prepared, an examiner may receive notice of the death of the claimant. If payment has been effectuated, termination action should be taken immediately. (See DI 40105.010 for SSA-831-U5 completion instructions.)
