Social Security Administration (SSA) and Disability Determination Services (DDS) employees have authorized access to those EF functions needed to perform their jobs. Access to the EF is:

  Determined by the position type associated with the Personal Identification Number (PIN) of the employee logged onto the workstation; and

• •

  Restricted to the minimum amount necessary for the user’s position type.

If a user has difficulty accessing any CEF related applications, he or she should contact their office Security Officer for assistance.

To view documents in the EF, the user must have a system security profile that includes the appropriate Security Assess Codes (SAC).

If a new user needs access to the images stored in the EF, they should contact their office system Security Officer for assistance.
