SI 00604.053 Children in Household Receiving Income: Question 26(b) and (c)

A. Introduction

Questions 26(b) and (c) aid in determining whether a deeming allocation applies and whether we should reduce the allocation by any income.

NOTE: Do not confuse questions 26(b) and (c) with questions 57(a) through (d), which cover the student child earned income exclusion.

B. When and how to complete question 26(c)

Complete question 26(c) when a claimant listed in 26(a) receives income and meets the definition of an ineligible child for deeming purposes.

Follow developmental instructions in SI 01320.185 if any ineligible child listed in 26(c) receives earned income.
