Divorce records are available since 1950. The State office has some records beginning

Assume that births of Alaska natives, except in the towns and cities listed above,
were not recorded until 1930 or later. The BVS will accept credit cards for all record
requests made by fax (907-465-3618) or mail. There is an $11.00 fee for this service
in addition to the $25.00 fee for each record. The $11.00 credit card fee is not for
expedited service.
ID Requirements: All requests must include a copy of a picture ID of the requester, and a signature
under the copied ID is also required. If SSA is the requester, proper completion of
the SSA-L706 will satisfy the State’s identity requirement.
