Eligibility requirements and computation methods for delayed retirement credits (DRCs)
in non-Totalization claims apply to Totalization claims as well. However, no month
prior to the effective month of the applicable agreement may be an increment month.
Any DRCs that are earned while an individual is eligible for a Totalization benefit
will also be applied to any non-Totalization benefit to which the beneficiary subsequently
becomes entitled.
