SI NY01801.004 (New Jersey) Expedited Processing

Expedited processing is discussed in Item 3 of the FSP-901 "Application For Participation in the Food Stamp Program". This is for individuals who have little or no income and need food stamps immediately. If the household that the individual resides in meets certain criteria, as given by the food stamp office, the individual may be able to receive food stamps within seven days. The FS office will make the final determination as to whether expedited procedures will apply.
